Journal #73

Aloha! This has been a different week to usual.
So, on Monday, my mum and brother went away for the week. I decided I was going to have friends over for dinner and needed to get the ingredients to cook, so under the disguise of having to go to the library, left before they did, met DH and went food shopping. Later that night, I tidied and then FallenLegacy came over to help, which turned into a movie night.
On Tuesday, after half an hours sleep, The Maineiac came over to meet the cats and bake cookies with me. We dug out an old video of Peter Pan which I had found the night before which brought back memories. Was really nice to spend some time with him, normally our friendship is mainly exclusively through messages and not face to face. Later on, FallenLegacy and Mikado came over to get some cookies and say hey. Originally it was just going to be Mikado so I was a bit surprised when he text me to say they were both on their way, whilst I was midway through West Side Story.

Journal #72

Hey there.

So on Sunday, I was invited around to Sands’ for lunch with her family. We had pizza and it was really nice.
Me and RD were meant to be going to the XFactor auditions on Monday, but we decided not to go as we couldnt really be bothered to. I don’t think I did much else that day.
Tuesday, the parents took me and the brother shopping. I got nothing, but he got a couple of bits.
On Wednesday, I took the brother shopping again and bought him lunch. I ended up getting a couple of dresses for my birthday, but I’ll probably only keep one. It was nice to spend some time with him. We don’t really get to be like that around my parents. Wednesday highroad was my last Brownies meeting and also the summer BBQ. They got me a photo frame with a picture of the pack in it which was lovely. At guides it was me and TDs ‘official’ last night. But we’ll probably both still got for a little bit as I don’t start uni until the end of September. Two BBQs in one night. Good night.

Journal #74

Hey everyone 🙂 how’s it going?
Compared to last week, I haven’t done much at all.
On Sunday, me, The Brother and The Maineiac went to see Pacific Rim at the cinema. I didn’t know much about it but my brother did so we went along and it was actually really good. Monsters and Robots and good guys saving the world.
I don’t think I did much on Monday; I don’t remember.
Tuesday afternoon I ended up going to Sharkees to pick up my speakers as I hadn’t seen her since the day of the Leopards gig, and then afterwards I went and met Mikado for a little bit and we wandered around the park. Was good to see Sharkee before she went to Turkey. Next time I see her will be my birthday!
Wednesday was a pretty epic day. As part of my birthday, Sands and Llamaffe ‘kidnapped’ me. When I say kidnapped, I mean: Sands picked me up from my house, met Llamaffe a couple of stations down, then was blindfolded when we got off the train and walked to the venue. They had got tickets to see Room 94 at The Garage and it was such a nice surprise! So glad I was blindfolded though as they made me hold a sign saying I was 18 and people were looking. The gig was great, the supporting acts (Robbie Colts, The Ratells and The Last Carnival) were just as good as Room 94. One thing I like about all the bands is that they all have really good stage presence and were interacting with the crows which was great.

Journal #71

This week has been a week where I actually haven’t done much, or at least it feels like I haven’t.
Sunday and Monday I don’t remember doing anything if I’m honest which means something important probably happened. Oh I had a singing lesson on Monday. Think that’s about it.
On Tuesday a group of us went to the park which was nice as we could just sit and chill for a bit and me and KS went off and played on the swings and that.
On Wednesday I had another singing lesson and it was decided that I wouldn’t enter ny exam afterall. I just didn’t know the songs well enough, mainly due to the fact I had been ill over the last two weeks. After my lesson I decided to go and see Sands as I was feeling pretty deflated by the decision to cancel my exam. Was quite funny as when I was waiting for her to open the door, her grandma turned up so I awkwardly stood there and we had to sit in the garden.

Journal #62

Hey everyone! How’s life?
I’m going to skip Sunday, I don’t seem to do much on Sundays.
So Monday was the May Bank Holiday and also one of my friends birthdays, and it was FallenLegacy’s birthday the day before (happy birthday guys!) so we decided to go to a park in central for a get together. We spent ages looking for a spot to sit in. The guys were really particular, they wanted aunt, shade and near the lake. Which is what everyone else who was in the park wanted too. But we found a spot under a tree which was far enough away from people so that we could kick a ball around and play the music on my speakers. I was meant to be home at 5 but ended up staying longer and the rest of us that stayed longer went to another park where there’s a hill and you can see the whole of the city. We got there and it was so pretty. Real summer atmosphere. The sun was setting and it was really beautiful. KS asked me if I wanted to run the down the gills so I grabbed his hand and started running. He let go and stopped ad FallenLegacy ran flat out passed us, dumped his bag and jumped straight into a tree. And then yelled his ‘mating call’ across the park, and guess what, people actually replied. It was such a lovely day. I should’ve spent it revising really, but I’m glad I went.
Tuesday I had school. Boo. I didn’t really do much. After school I was meant to go jogging but ended up going to see Sands to talk about some stuff that happened.
Wednesday was another day that I don’t really remember. I went to guides and we made objects out of rice crispy cake mix and chocolate bourboun biscuits. I made a house.
