Journal #77

So, I’m doing this on the Friday as I am off to France for the week in a matter of hours.

This week hasn’t really had much in it.
The brother came home on Sunday from a camp he was on, seemed to love it.
Monday I don’t actually remember. Probably did something worthwhile but I’m not sure o.o
On Tuesday I went and paid my birthday money in and then me and the brother went and got our respective hair cut and watched Percy Jackson: Sea Of Monsters which was awesome. I loved the first one – lightning thief, so I promised myself I had to see this one!
That night I went for a walk and ended up dragging Sands out too and, despite me telling my mum I’d only be 20 minutes, I came home nearly 2 hours later. It was a well needed catch up I had with Sands though so I don’t care what mother thinks.
On Wednesday we decided to go out for the day, well the afternoon by the time the brother was ready. We decided to go to the zoo, but after the hour and a half long journey it took to get there, decided against going in. This is because we were greeted by a family complaining about there being too many wasps and how everyone was being stung. The Brother hates wasps. So refused to go and hid in the car. We ended up walking round the town for a bit which was still nice.

Aloha! This has been a different week to usual.
So, on Monday, my mum and brother went away for the week. I decided I was going to have friends over for dinner and needed to get the ingredients to cook, so under the disguise of having to go to the library, left before they did, met DH and went food shopping. Later that night, I tidied and then FallenLegacy came over to help, which turned into a movie night.
On Tuesday, after half an hours sleep, The Maineiac came over to meet the cats and bake cookies with me. We dug out an old video of Peter Pan which I had found the night before which brought back memories. Was really nice to spend some time with him, normally our friendship is mainly exclusively through messages and not face to face. Later on, FallenLegacy and Mikado came over to get some cookies and say hey. Originally it was just going to be Mikado so I was a bit surprised when he text me to say they were both on their way, whilst I was midway through West Side Story.

Journal #71

This week has been a week where I actually haven’t done much, or at least it feels like I haven’t.
Sunday and Monday I don’t remember doing anything if I’m honest which means something important probably happened. Oh I had a singing lesson on Monday. Think that’s about it.
On Tuesday a group of us went to the park which was nice as we could just sit and chill for a bit and me and KS went off and played on the swings and that.
On Wednesday I had another singing lesson and it was decided that I wouldn’t enter ny exam afterall. I just didn’t know the songs well enough, mainly due to the fact I had been ill over the last two weeks. After my lesson I decided to go and see Sands as I was feeling pretty deflated by the decision to cancel my exam. Was quite funny as when I was waiting for her to open the door, her grandma turned up so I awkwardly stood there and we had to sit in the garden.

Journal #68

This week was good. A lot to talk about this week.
So Sunday was the last day which I had to use to revise; I didn’t. I couldn’t concentrate so decided to focus on psychology and not do biology.
My last two exams were on Monday. Psychology was in the morning, it was okay. Again there were some stupid questions but I think it was okay. One of the biggest questions I loved as it was one of the debates that I had revised with Sharkee the night before so knew pretty much inside out. Biology was in them afternoon and I was so tired in it. I actually dozed off for a bit. Again, it was an okay exam. A lot better than expected, but I know I did make a lost of silly mistakes in it. When it got to the last 5 minutes of the exam, I just sat there smiling, knowing that I didn’t have to do anymore. When the exam was over I literally skipped out the gate with a friend. I was so excited to be finished. So I got home, got changed and then headed out to meet Sharkee. We did some shopping and met up with HJ who was looking for a prom suit, me and Sharkee actually spotted the one he chose in the end which is pretty cool B) so later on we decided to get some food and picked Las Iguanas. It was happy hour and we were offered cocktails so we thought we should just go for it and ordered two each. Quite proud that they didn’t ID us as although Sharkee is 18, neither of us really look our age! The food was good and so were the drinks and we had a really nice time.
So on Tuesday I had a singing lesson in the afternoon and I also had to go in and get my text book deposit back. In the morning, the prom decorations arrived and then I popped out to see Mikado as he was near me.
On Wednesday me and the family went out for lunch and then a walk. It was a nice afternoon.

Journal #63

Wow its been a nostalgic week. Last week of sixth form!
So on Sunday I just did a bit of homework here and there and some tidying. Not much else really.
Monday was the first part of Leaver’s Week at sixth form. We had an ‘international lunch’ where people bought in foods from their culture. I took in some shortbread and Irn Bru as I’m half Scottish. Other people took in cakes and scones and rice dishes and noodles and it was really nice for us all to eat together. The teachers had bought us a massive cake too which was really lovely of them.
On Tuesday there was a Spotlight show at lunch, where quite a few performed, including me and Sharkee. We decided Sunday that we’d take part, and decided Monday afternoon what song we would do. Very few knew which song we were doing, but we got people singing along and doing the actions which was great. Oh, by the way, we sang Reach by S Club 7. We were originally going to do Titanium but when we spoke to our teacher he said to find a song which wasn’t as monotonous. So we sat for the next hour going through the music we had on our phones and iPods, trying out various things. I got to Reach and jokingly said we should do it. However when we tried it out, it actually sounded decent. And we knew all the words. So that was settled. We would sing Reach and hope everyone did the actions and sang along. Not everyone did them, but the teachers all did and our friends did which was great. Sands got up and sang Mumma Knows Best after they pushed her up, for not warming up and singing it pretty spontaneous she did amazingly. SF did an amazing rendition of Etta James, S and Mikado did an acoustic version of Sexy and I Know It which was great, MR performed I Kissed A Girl by Katy Perry, and ST performed one of her new songs which was beautiful as usual. I’m glad we performed what we did, it really sums me and Sharkee up 🙂

Hey everyone! How’s life?
I’m going to skip Sunday, I don’t seem to do much on Sundays.
So Monday was the May Bank Holiday and also one of my friends birthdays, and it was FallenLegacy’s birthday the day before (happy birthday guys!) so we decided to go to a park in central for a get together. We spent ages looking for a spot to sit in. The guys were really particular, they wanted aunt, shade and near the lake. Which is what everyone else who was in the park wanted too. But we found a spot under a tree which was far enough away from people so that we could kick a ball around and play the music on my speakers. I was meant to be home at 5 but ended up staying longer and the rest of us that stayed longer went to another park where there’s a hill and you can see the whole of the city. We got there and it was so pretty. Real summer atmosphere. The sun was setting and it was really beautiful. KS asked me if I wanted to run the down the gills so I grabbed his hand and started running. He let go and stopped ad FallenLegacy ran flat out passed us, dumped his bag and jumped straight into a tree. And then yelled his ‘mating call’ across the park, and guess what, people actually replied. It was such a lovely day. I should’ve spent it revising really, but I’m glad I went.
Tuesday I had school. Boo. I didn’t really do much. After school I was meant to go jogging but ended up going to see Sands to talk about some stuff that happened.
Wednesday was another day that I don’t really remember. I went to guides and we made objects out of rice crispy cake mix and chocolate bourboun biscuits. I made a house.

The sun is here!!

So, on Monday I went for a run. I ended up bumping into everyone from school as I was heading home which was quite funny.
The sun was so good on Tuesday. Chlorine bought her ukelele into school and then on the way home I said how I felt like going and sitting in the park and then we decided to grab ny guitar and go and have a little catch up/jam in the park. Let me just point out that Chlorine has only just got the ukelele, and despite having guitar lessons for 4/5 years, I can’t play that great at all.Chlorine is better on the ukelele now, than I have ever been at the guitar. It was a really nicer afternoon, ee had a good catch up and relax and took some pretty funny oictures, as well as making daisy chain head bands.

Hey everyone.
So on Sunday I dyed my hair again. I am now ginger. This was not planned.
Basically, I was dying mums hair and as she has very short hair, she had loads left over. So I ended up with the rest in my hair and where I had dyed it the week before, not all of it actually dyed and so its pretty patchy and parts are really bright. I also managed to break my glasses which was clever of me.
I’m still sticking to the jogging programme so I woke up on Monday and started week 2. So far so good! So as I broke my glasses on Sunday and mum was going to get her eyes tested, I went along and got them fixed. We went and got lunch together and it was nice to spend some time with her.
I got to see my lovely DH on Tuesday, we went up town and had lunch and went shopping. I got a new dress which mum says makes me look far too pale and like a china doll. I like it.
So on Wednesday I went for another jog, still going well with the programme!

#13 watch 3 movies within the week

So this week I had to watch three films. So it was time for a movie night.
So on Friday, Sharkee and DH came over and we watched High School Musical and Pitch Perfect.
We watched HSM because we hadn’t seen it in ages and its one of those films that is so cheesy and we can have a sing a long and laugh about what we were like when it came out.
Sharkee loves watching Pitch Perfect and I’ve not seen the whole film. The ending was pretty predictable but I actually loved the film. It’s definitely gonna be on the list of films I can’t get tired of (joining Finding Nemo, Hairspray, School Of Rock, the Narnia films, My Girl, The Parent Trap, Nightmare Before Christmas, The Corpse Bride…)

Hey 🙂
I’m gonna dive straight into this as I am shattered.
Sunday- went out for the brothers birthday.
Monday- not much happened really, I went into town with Ads after school to get a few bits and pieces for Sands birthday but that’s all really.
Tuesday- I went back into town after school on Tuesday to get the final few bits and take some photos for Sand’s birthday present. Was pretty hilarious taking all these stupid pictures with DN and Ads and then realising that everyone could see us out the library windows.
Wednesday- Sand’s 18th birthday. Mikado went and got this amazing chocolate cake that was so, so good. Like not too rich and nice and moist and just argh. It was a good cake. I bought her popping candy chocolate spread as a kind of in-joke we have going. It doesn’t really taste as good as it sounds.
