Journal #56

Hey 🙂
I’m gonna dive straight into this as I am shattered.
Sunday- went out for the brothers birthday.
Monday- not much happened really, I went into town with Ads after school to get a few bits and pieces for Sands birthday but that’s all really.
Tuesday- I went back into town after school on Tuesday to get the final few bits and take some photos for Sand’s birthday present. Was pretty hilarious taking all these stupid pictures with DN and Ads and then realising that everyone could see us out the library windows.
Wednesday- Sand’s 18th birthday. Mikado went and got this amazing chocolate cake that was so, so good. Like not too rich and nice and moist and just argh. It was a good cake. I bought her popping candy chocolate spread as a kind of in-joke we have going. It doesn’t really taste as good as it sounds.

#4 make a friendship bracelet for someone

image

(The two on the right)

So I like making friendship bracelets, so I enjoyed this challenge.
Silly me forgot to take a picture of the bracelets on the friend I gave them to, but I found that picture, and it’s the two bracelets on the right which I gave her.
I chose to give them to her as she made me a tiny cupcake pendant out of fimo clay which is so cute. She’s really good at making them!

There’s not much else I can say about this task hehe.

Howdy.
So this week was interesting I guess.
Monday I was meant to be going to a lecture about the brain and neurodegenerative diseases, but after waiting for ages, the woman didn’t show up. So I decided to walk into town to get something for The Brothers birthday. So I get into town and Mikado saw me and shouted so I went over and we went to the library. None of the books on my list to read were in the library which is pretty silly really. Whilst I was looking at a book, FallenLegacy came over and surprised me and introduced me to one of his friends. They were going to get some food and I decided that I’d just go to the bookshop to get the brothers birthday present and return to the library later. They dropped me off and I soon found that there weren’t really any books that were suitable for my brother. I went home.
On Tuesday I was debating whether or not to go back into town with FallenLegacy to look at the books again, or get the train with Chlorine to look in the bigger shopping centre. I went with Chlorine. DN was also going and that was what made us add the shopping centre to the list to choose from. So we looked around the book store, and again, nothing that he would be interested in. Then DN decided he needed shampoo and conditioner.

Journal #54

So on Sunday, I decided to be clever and do a workout to compensate for the lack of jogging I had done. I got halfway through a workout and had to stop. So I did 20 squats, 30 lunges, 40 calf raises, 50 second wall seat and then 50/100 jumping jacks. It then basically went back wards, replacing the 40 calf raises with leg lifts and the 30 lunges for a 30 second plank. I couldn’t do the second half. It was a pretty spontaneous work out. I didn’t bother warming up and just kinda stopped and got showered and ready to go out. By Sunday night, my legs killed.
So on Monday I woke up and my legs decided that they didn’t want to work. Agony. Absolute agony. As I had to go in for school, i decided just to ignore how stiff my legs were and walk up and down the stairs a few times. Didn’t help.
Tuesday was a cool day. At school, I have to go to choir as I have singing lessons. We were told at the end of last year that we would be part of a choir at Wembley which was pretty awesome. It was for Voice In A Million which raises awareness and money for adoption I think. It was a really good night. We did loads of well known songs from Edge Of Glory by Lady Gaga to When I Grow Up from Matilda the musical. My parents watched it and they said it was really good.
On Wednesday we had Glee Club and we were given the task of taking a well known nursery rhyme and changing it. We were given Twinkle Twinkle and told to make it rock/alternative. We did our usual thing of thinking of any related songs. They ranged from Diamonds are forever to Diamonds are a Girls beat friend to reach by S Club. In the end we added Like A Star and stop crying your heart out. The funniest one was another groups reggae version of Humpty Dumpty. They mixed in some Bob Marley and it was so good. We laughed so much when one of the guys produced a completely unexpected Jamaican accent out of nowhere.
I got a bit excited and said we should perform the songs at one of the monthly shows. Then we remembered that is was Comic Relief that Friday.

This week: #41 make an origami owl

I love owls. Okay, not the actually animal exactly. Although they are pretty awesome and look beautiful in flight.
It all started when I was given the name Tiny Owl as a Young Leader at Brownies. My friend was Little Owl so pretty soon we ended up buying owl related objects for each other and it all kicked off.
I’ve tried making an origami owl before. Let’s just say it looked more like a roadkill origami owl…

Journal #53

Hello lovely people.
I started jogging again this week.
Me and Sands decided that we needed to start exercising again after our break, and I was up for it. So Monday after school we went for our first jog. We decided to go back to the beginning of the NHS Couch to 5k program, and I’m glad we did. Sands popped her knee on Sunday, and after the first run part of the podcast she needed to stop. We walked around for a bit before deciding to try again, but shortly after we decided to call it quits and head back. I said goodbye and headed home once we got near hers but I decided that I’d do the session myself. I bumped into The Brother as I restarted the run and as I’d find it awkward running when he was watching, I cut down the alley and sprinted the first run. Big mistake. When I slowed to do the walk section I found myself to be quite wheezy. I ignored it and carried on, running around some roads. Once I was about half way through the session and I got to a run section, I was forced to stop. I couldn’t breathe, and walking was getting harder and harder. Although I had pushed through the pain originally, it had stopped hurting and had gone numb. I knew it was time for me to stop and began the short walk home. Haha. Short. It took me 10 minutes. I clung on to the walls and fences and when I finally got home, crawled up the stairs, sat on my bed and woke up to my mum asking if I was okay. Not sure if I passed out or not, but I don’t think I did. I shouldn’t have been like that. I found the first session easy last time, enjoyable even. I couldn’t even finish it on Monday.
I stayed in bed all evening, only moving to put my onesie on. Mum would normally tell me to stop being silly, however she could see I was shattered so bought my dinner up to me.

So this week I had to do this: #9 attempt the Ferrero Rocher challenge.
Well, it was actually last week that I had to do it, but I didn’t have a convient time to do so.

For those of you who don’t know what the challenge is, you have to eat as many Ferrero Rochers as possible, in a minute.

So, me and Chlorine were shopping and I remembered that I had to do it. So we each bought a three-pack of chocolates and headed to Costa to buy a drink and then do it.

Journal #52

Hello there 🙂

So this weeks been abnormal. It was mocks week.
So, Monday was Biology unit 4 day. It was an okay paper I guess. If I had revised properly it would have been good.
I was home by 11 so I ate, sat doing nothing for a bit and then revised for psychology.
Tuesday was psychology day. Again, the paper would have been good had I revised to the best of my ability. There was one question that I wrote a few lines for and then realised that I had no idea what the answer was. Apart from that I guess it was okay. It was probably the least bad exam out of all of them. I got home at around 11 again so again I ate, tidied my room (well… I did some of it) and then started revising around 3 ish.
My geography exam on Wednesday wasn’t until 2 so I spent the morning going over bits and pieces, then I got really bored at home so I went into school around 11 and sat working by the heater for a bit. Shortly after a couple of other geographers came in, and although I just wanted to spam with them, we ended up discussing stupid things that weren’t necessary and by the end I just sat on my own again. We drove Chlorine to insanity at one point where we were trying to explain paleomagnetism and someone was explaining sea floor spreading and had got confused with the two and we were all talking at once and she got up, screamed and ran into private study to escape. Sorry bbz.
The exam was 2hrs30 which was tiring, especially as it didn’t finish til 4:30 and I was hungry throughout it. Like the other exams, if I had revised it would have been a great exam. The final 40 mark question started off okay, but by the middle I was just like “Woah what do I write now?” With more practice and better revision, I’m sure I’ll do fine.
